Issue Summary: Building a New School

Introduction

Securing an adequate, fair school budget across districts is a heated topic of debate. Involved parties have varying opinions of how to save money and simultaneously provide an exceptional standard of education. The appearance and maintenance of school buildings are one of many indicators of student achievement.             Schools should be a place where students can grow their mind to eventually enhance their life. Inadequate facilities take that away. Below are recommendations to combat that issue by building and improving new schools. Ideas are outlined of what to consider during the planning process and commentary on budget expectations are briefly discussed.
