National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC)
As a startup whose mission is to support gifted children of color, we felt it necessary to include the gifted standards as posed by the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC). We have only selected a few which directly reflect the programming provided by Levi&Toonk. Full documents as well as other research from the NAGC and their partners can be accessed below.
Families: Review the full document for specific action steps you can take to start a gifted program in your school district and learn more about the most conducive learning environment for gifted children.
Educators: If your district or school has yet to adopt standards or professional development to serve your growing gifted population, this research is a great start!
